I’m so happy to announce that my work has been recently published in the Spring 2021 issue of The Watershed Journal!
My short story, “The Lunch,” describes a scene between a young woman and her father, in the wake of a family upheaval. The piece touches on themes of forgiveness, shame, and coming of age in the confines of rural Northern Appalachia.
The Watershed Journal has a very focused goal: to feature writers and writing from and about the Pennsylvania Wilds region, which encompasses a few counties of North-Central PA. It’s such an honor to be a part of this publication, along with other writers who call this area home. You can find the Spring 2021 issue here.
