I’m a creative writer from rural western Pennsylvania, where going on forest hikes and coming across ghost towns is not at all unusual. From a young age, I was fascinated with stories, and how they connect us to the past, to the world, and to each other.

I have a bachelor’s degree in writing from a small liberal arts college outside of Pittsburgh, and my Master of Fine Arts in creative writing from a small liberal arts college in Pittsburgh, where I now live with my husband. As part of my degree program, I’ve had the opportunity to work with and learn from so many talented authors, both here and in Dublin, Ireland.

I am a writing and editing freelancer, tutor, and teacher. I love legend and literature and pop culture, and how they all intersect with what makes us human.
My love for storytelling has led me to a few different projects: check out my Blog page for my original writing, including fiction and nonfiction about the craft of writing. If you are looking for a freelance writer or editor for a particular project, take a look at my Work With Me page. Or if you just want to say hello, send me a message!

I love a good hike, a good yarn (literal and figurative), and a good cup of coffee. My dream is to teach a class analyzing the hell out of Little Women. I’m a self-compassion advocate, Flannery O’Connor admirer, Christian feminist, and former homeschooled child.
That’s a long story.
